I Buried You Under The Cement.

I buried you under the cement

On the morning of your birthday.

The March sky, still dark, tore down

And covered your naked body

As you lay bare on the spring grass.

Close to the factory, where they

Churned it around in the mixer,

Under the rising sun, I took you.

I buried you under the cement

Because it was time to let go.
